At St Catherine's School Stirling your child will learn life skills through education, sport, music and extra-curricular activities. Their understanding of compassion through social justice will hold them in good stead for the rest of their lives. We encourage all of our children to develop the concepts of responsibility and positive self-image so as to become a member of a caring community.
We value a strong partnership with families and welcome the building of relationships within a caring and safe community.
Our teachers and support staff are highly motivated and dedicated professionals who provide a rich learning environment for their students. We are proud of our Dominican history and traditions and are inspired by the future possibilities that await every student at St Catherine's School.
We extend an invitation to visit us. You will discover a school that enriches the learning and development of your child as socially and environmentally responsible people, through their connections to God, humanity and the earth.
St Catherine’s is a Catholic co-educational primary school, situated in Stirling, within the Adelaide Hills Parish of the Archdiocese of Adelaide.
We were established in 1947 by sisters of the Dominican Order of the Holy Cross Province, responding to the desire of local parishioners to have access to high quality Catholic schooling for their children. To honour our Dominican heritage, we strive to be visionary, recognise, enhance and nurture the natural curiosity and desire to learn that is within each person, be active in social justice and ecological sustainability and be a place of welcome, equity and inclusion for all.
Our faith is embedded within the fabric and culture of our school, ensuring that we operate with integrity and respect the dignity and inestimatmatible worth of each person. We commit to the central goal of Catholic Education South Australia to be a learning community of “thriving people, capable learners, leaders for for the world God desires”.
