In 2019, St Catherine’s school, Stirling were successful in receiving funding from the Australian Government via the Local Schools Community Fund to refurbish the canteen. The upgraded facilities included a commercial fit-out, together with a fridge and an eco-friendly dishwasher. We look forward to using the canteen to host school and community events, as well as providing recess and lunch options and other opportunities to the school children in showcasing our sustainable ethos.
