Beyond the Classroom

The Arts

Through the instrumental program children can learn piano, violin, guitar, drums or singing.

We participate in inter-school debating and voluntary ICAS tests as well as taking up other opportunities that are presented for the benefit of our students.

Our school enters the SA Catholic School Sports Association (SACPSSA) carnivals each year (swimming, athletics, cross country, netball, handball and touch football) and we have school teams for soccer, netball and cricket.

We also enter the Australian Primary Schools Amateur Sports Association (SAPSASA) each year (carnivals for swimming, athletics and cross country), as well as the Adelaide Hills Regional Carnival (soccer, netball and football).

School Camps and Sleepovers

  • Year 4 Sleepover - at school
  • Year 5 Woodhouse Scout Camp
  • Year 6 Canberra and Aquatics

Festival Choir

Each year our Year 5 and 6 students have the opportunity to join the Festival Choir, a mass choir from Catholic schools throughout the state, which performs at the Festival Theatre or The Entertainment Centre. This event is always a great night out that showcases the rich musical talent of students in Catholic schools. We are proud of our long association with the Music Festival and love offering this opportunity for our students.
